Range of DOMITE wear and impact resistant products
Being the original inventors of the Australian made DOMITE product, over the years CQMS has developed a range of over 3,000 different DOMITE shapes and sizes for a wide variety of applications.
The microstructure of the wear resistant alloy contains primary and secondary carbides up to 1800-2000 HV supported by a martensitic matrix to give the metal a nominal hardness of 700HB (equal to 63HRc).
The mild steel backing plate provides a cushion or means of absorbing extremely high impact and loading as well as allowing the product to be welded, machined or stud bolted for fixing in place.
All these products are designed to withstand high impact and provide maximum wear resistance in the mining, earthmoving, construction, dredging, crushing, sugar and recycling industries.
DOMITE bimetallic wear resistant products with hardness of 700HB (equal to 63HRc) can be successfully welded and cut without compromising the integrity and performance of the product.

DOMITE (700 HB, 63 HRc) Wear Bars and Blocks are available in thicknesses ranging from 25mm to 100mm, widths from 25mm to 300mm wide and in varying lengths.
Suitable for use in chutes, hoppers, bins, transfer points, rock box edges and many other proven Fixed Plant applications.
DOMITE Wear Bars and Blocks offer superior wear life when compared to conventional alloys used such as manganese steel, Ni-Hard alloys, chrome-moly pearlitic steels, Q&T bars and clad overlay strips.

DOMITE Knife Edges - wear resistant edges, are the most cost effective alternative to expensive, labor-intensive hard facing methods and are easy to install and maintain. DOMITE Knife Edges are available in many different shapes and styles.
DOMITE Knife Edges have sharp edges at the start of use and retain their edge sharpness and cutting efficiency longer than hard facing. There is no need to rebuild edges by welding.
DOMITE Knife Edges offer increased production and shredding efficiency, keeping maintenance costs down.
